JStCPatrick did this modification where he added  Shinju into the scene.  He worked on rotoscoping and manipulating a separate image to composite the lethal gothic lolita.


Now within the fic (And if that Don't Work) Shinji and Misato receive a lethal doses or radiation.  To save his life Ritsuko uses the Salvaging technology to extract Shinji's soul and put it in a Rei body. (Misato was used as the guinie pig just in case Rits has to work out any bugs.)

To keep suspicoun by having three identical Reis around,  Shinji gets a 12 year old Rei clone,  Misato a 19 year old body.

Interestingly Ritsuko's mother tried it to recover Yui's soul after the Unit 01 contact experiment.
And yes, this means Ritsuko beat her mother's scientific skill.

And yes...  that means that Gendo now has more Reis....  one of which is pre-teen and has his son's soul, and another which is 19.   But hey that means that Gendo now doesn't hate his child and is trying to make an effort to be nice....

because you know... Gendo isn't creepy enough.
